Gentech Homes Ltd. Co. (“Gentech Homes,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates gentech-homes.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website only. It does not apply to information collected offline, in person, or through any channel other than this site.

1. Information you provide to us

We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us. Our contact forms request:

  • Name — required.
  • Email address — required.
  • Phone number — optional.
  • Company name — optional.
  • Your message — whatever you choose to share about your project.

We do not request financial account information, Social Security or other government identification numbers, precise geolocation, or any category of sensitive personal information through this website. Please do not include such information in a message to us. If you send it anyway, we will delete it once your inquiry has been addressed.

2. Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, our hosting and security systems automatically record limited technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to operate the site, protect it from automated abuse, and understand general traffic patterns. We do not use it to build a profile of you as an individual.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to you — to answer your inquiry about a custom home, a remodel, or a residence at Marina Court.
  • To follow up — to share plans, availability and pricing, arrange site visits, and continue a conversation you started.
  • To operate this site — to keep the site secure, functional, and useful.
  • To meet legal and contractual obligations — to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and establish or defend legal claims.

4. What we do not do

These commitments are as important as the ones above.

  • We do not sell your personal information — for monetary or other valuable consideration.
  • We do not use your information for targeted advertising — and we do not disclose your information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
  • We do not use automated profiling — to produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
  • We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data — through this site.

If any of this changes, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and, where the law requires it, obtain your consent first.

5. Service providers

A small number of vendors process information on our behalf under contract. They may use it only to provide their service to us, and not for their own purposes.

FunctionPurposeWhat it processes
Website hostingServes and secures the websiteServer logs, including IP addresses
Email delivery and storageDelivers and retains form submissionsAll information you submit through a form
Spam filteringBlocks automated abuse of our formsSubmission content and IP address
Mapping serviceDisplays office and community location mapsRequests your browser makes to the map provider

We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business. In the latter case, this policy will continue to govern your information until you are given notice of any change.

6. Embedded maps

Our Contact page and certain community pages display embedded maps. When a map loads, your browser connects directly to the map provider, which may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy. That processing is outside our control. If you prefer to avoid it, you can navigate the site without opening pages that contain maps, or use your browser settings to block third-party content.

7. Cookies and tracking signals

This site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and remain secure. It may also use cookies that help us understand how the site is used in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work correctly if you do.

We honor browser-based privacy preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where our systems receive them. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, such a signal does not change how we handle your data.

8. How long we keep your information

We keep information for as long as it serves the purpose for which it was collected, and then for as long as we have a legal or contractual reason to retain it.

Type of recordRetention period
Inquiries that do not become projects24 months from last contact
Client and project recordsDuration of the project, plus the period required to cover warranty and statutory obligations
Technical and security logs12 months

You may ask us to delete your information sooner. See the next section.

9. Your privacy choices

Regardless of where you live, and regardless of whether a particular privacy statute applies to us, we will honor the following requests:

  • Access — a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — inaccurate information we hold about you.
  • Deletion — the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to keep by law or that we need to establish or defend a legal claim.
  • Opt out — receiving marketing or follow-up communications from us at any time.

To make a request, email info@gentech-homes.com or write to the address at the end of this policy, with enough detail for us to identify your records. We will acknowledge your request and respond within forty-five days. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

If we decline a request, we will explain why. You may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response, and a different person will review the decision. If you remain dissatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Attorney General of Texas.

10. Children

This website is directed to adults and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Security

This site is served over an encrypted connection, and we maintain reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited nature of the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Visitors outside Texas

This site is operated from the United States and is intended for people seeking construction services in the Houston metropolitan area. If you access it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

13. Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when it was last changed. If we make a material change to how we handle information already collected, we will provide notice before the change takes effect.
